Abstract
Distance learning programs expand education’s reach to student located in any corner of our world. The ability, however, for these students to participate in a campus-approved examination process has been slow to catch up. Remote students find their own proctors or travel to test centers -- not to mention there’s a reluctance to use remotely-administered online tests due to the increased risk for dishonesty. But for the University of West Alabama, these challenges aren’t an issue, thanks to the use of remote proctoring. UWA delivers exams online without compromising exam integrity, and do so while maintaining accessibility and convenience. Join Software Secure and University of West Alabama as they present real-world examples about how the university has successfully made the transition from honor codes and proctors to remote proctoring technologies.
