On behalf of the
planning committee for the 7th Annual Sloan Consortium Blended Learning
Conference and Workshop, I welcome you to the conference website. We
were very pleased with the response to the first ever call for
presentations and the program that has developed is truly an event
where there will be something for everyone. This ‘design-your-own’ conference brings together leaders in the field sharing strategies, research, effective practices in multiple venues and formats. Whether you want to attend numerous information sessions, concentrate on a particular topic during an interactive workshop or mix and match – the conference is yours to plan. The plenary sessions also provide the opportunity for a deep and broad look at blended learning. Integrated within our plenary speakers and panelists are short presentations – or Great Ideas – that you will find invaluable and innovative. Join us in April for this intimate and robust event. You will not be disappointed. |
Does
your institution lack adequate classroom space to meet enrollment
demand? Do you have limited instructional resources and wonder if
blended learning can provide solutions? Institutions of higher
education around the world are using blended learning to meet
institutional goals, enhance student learning, facilitate student
access and find solutions to address diminishing resources. Faculty
members and instructional designers use blended learning as a means for
enhancing teaching and learning. Administrators strategically
incorporate blended learning as a means of fulfilling their
institution's mission and goals. Students draw on blended offerings to
provide flexibility and improve their time to degree.
Join your colleagues at the 7th Annual Sloan Consortium Blended Learning Conference and Workshop as we explore effective strategies, listen to each other's ideas and problem-solve together. |
