In this session we will share our process of adapting resident instruction courses for online/hybrid delivery at a large research university. We will also share evaluation results from 572 students and their instructors in several of the courses as well as recommendations for designing and teaching courses in alternative formats.

Participants in this session will learn how we managed a university-wide project designed to transform several resident instruction courses from face-to-face to online or hybrid delivery. They will also learn the process through which we evaluated the courses as well as the results of our evaluation. Finally, participants will learn ideas from our results than can inform the development and delivery of online or hybrid courses.
