Enhancements Coming to the Interactive Quality Scorecard in Spring 2012

In March 2012, a function will be added to the interactive Scorecard to enable team members designated by an institutional team leader to complete sections of the scorecard and to observe the overall scoring. Scorecard indicators have been mapped to the regional accreditors’ criteria so that institutions may use the Scorecard to show accreditors how online programs meet the criteria.

Faculty Development: Call for Papers for Special Issue of Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks

This call for papers is for a special issue of the Journal of Asynchronous Learning Networks that will be devoted to research and effective practices in faculty development. The Faculty Advisory Board is especially interested in theory- or evidence-based best practices in faculty development as well as solid, well-designed and -executed research on the topic of faculty development. Faculty development can include online or blended education held for community college or higher education faculty.

Submissions will be evaluated by these criteria: innovation, replicability, impact, evidence and scope.
