Abstract

Education has finally reached its “Internet moment.” This session will explain how multi-point adaptively maximizes student progress by continuously mining real-time performance data and responding accordingly. Best practices in blended and fully online environments, learned through successful implementations of the Knewton Math Readiness, will be shared.

Extended Abstract

This session will address the unrealized opportunities big data can provide to educators and educational institutions. Specifically, it will discuss how multi-point, continuous adaptivity, pioneered by the Knewton Adaptive Learning PlatformTM garners unprecedented amounts of insight into student proficiencies and learning modalities, and how leveraging that data has improved learning outcomes in developmental math programs at the largest educational institutions in the country.
