Abstract

An overview of open STEM education activities at a UK university, including learner experience, engaging external partners and maximising OER discovery.

Extended Abstract

The goal of this presentation is to provide an overview of open STEM education activities at a UK university. Our presentation will focus on the three research themes that have formed part of our national open education projects.

Lead Presenter

Dr Viv Rolfe is a principal lecturer in anatomy and physiology at De Montfort University in the UK. Interests include development and evaluation of animation and multimedia resources to support life science education. She is involved in open education projects and her learning materials are available as OER globally.
