Every six months there are new innovations in mobilization technology of smart phones and tablets that impacts and/or transforms education and the workforce. This session will highlight the latest innovations, trends, and impact of emerging mobile technology including mobile content products of eReaders, phones, tablets, e/iTextbooks, mobile app teaching, learning, and training development, third party educational and workforce accessories, ADA mobile assistive tech tools, wearable technology, virtual and augmented tech, and new products highlighted at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) January 2013.

Participants will gain insight into emerging technologies that will evidently show up in the classroom, on campuses, on students (wearable tech attire) and how we perform our daily operations on campus (networking, productivity, IT, student recruiting, student services, libraries, distance education, etc.)
