The University of Houston-Clear Lake, received a grant from The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to create a website on “BEST PRACTICES in Undergraduate Teaching and Learning” containing twelve online professional development modules for educators. This project addresses effective strategies and “best practices” for improving undergraduate teaching and learning in many critical areas to provide faculty with on-demand professional development opportunities. The website will become available at http://www.txprofdev.org/ in April 2013 for all to use on demand for face-to-face, web supported, and online courses.
