Lead Presenter
Doug Hyche, Senior Solutions Engineer for Blackboard Collaborate, provides technical and operational support for the entire Blackboard Collaborate Platform and associated Services to the Sales Team. Doug brings with him a thorough understanding of Higher Education business processes, IT change management, and an understanding of the balance between management of an enterprise system and managing change and innovation. Doug's personal philosophy is centered on building effective relationships for continued individual and professional growth.   Before Doug’s experience led him to Blackboard he worked in the centralized Information Technology unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia for the last twelve of those years. During his tenure with the Georgia Board of Regents, he served in a number of roles with increasing responsibility including Business Analyst for Student Information Systems and Data Warehouse efforts, Project Coordinator, as well as Project Manager and Associate Director with Advanced Learning Technologies. Prior to his time at the University System of Georgia, Doug served as a Technical Trainer and Supervisor for New Horizons Computer Learning Center and as Southern Regional Director for the National Non-Profit organization Break Away at Vanderbilt University.
