Lead Presenter

Vesna Champagne, M.S., Test Developer, Test Development Solutions, Prometric

Vesna Champagne is primarily responsible for conducting job analysis for licensure and certification programs and performing standard setting (cut score) studies. She also provides assistance with item writing and development, research and preparing final reports for clients. Prior to joining Prometric, Ms. Champagne served as an Industrial/Organizational Psychology intern at the Minnesota Workforce Center where she helped the organization further develop and refine its recruitment and selection practices. In addition, she has served as a consultant for St. Cloud’s Industrial and Organizational Psychology Network (SCION) and the Minnesota Small Business Development Center.

Ms. Champagne holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

  

Kathryn Hill, M.Ed., Senior Manager, Test Development Solutions, Prometric

Kate Hill heads teams of test design specialists, test developers, editors, recruiters of subject-matter experts, statisticians and psychometricians within Prometric’s Test Development Solutions. The group consists of 60 test development professionals who work with hundreds of subject matter experts to conduct job analyses and develop test blueprints, develop and update test items, assemble tests, maintain item banks for over 400 exam programs, conduct standard-setting workshops, pre- and post-equate exams, perform scoring and score scaling, and conduct various levels of psychometric analyses in support of client programs. Ms. Hill has 30+ years of experience in exam development and administration and in managing organizations involved in professional certification and licensing. Prior to joining Prometric, Ms. Hill served as Director of Certification for the Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA); headed the Testing, Licensing & Certification Unit of CPS Human Resource Services; served as Executive Director of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); and served for many years at the executive or senior staff level for the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME).

Ms. Hill has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and secondary school teaching certificate from Widener College, and a Master of Education degree in Educational Psychology/Psychometrics from Temple University. She is a published author and editor of publications for a variety of professional organizations in the field of professional evaluation, certification and licensure, education and accreditation.
