Extended Abstract
This presentation will provide attendees with an overview of CourseSites, a free, online course management system (CMS) that allows each instructor to create as many courses as they like but with only up to five courses being active without purchasing a CMS. This session is for those who need a smaller scale solution to special situations when access to a full-blown course management system is not available, not feasible, or when you have a special situation where this product fits your needs. The focus is on the development and implementation of ESOL courses for high school students in Haiti, where funding and resources are extremely limited. This session will explain how to obtain a CourseSites account, how to create a course, and how to utilize the CourseSites support system.
