The Walt Disney World Swan/Dolphin hotel, where the conference will be held, is primarily sold out for the conference dates.  A limited number of rooms are still available on some conference dates.  While attendees may book rooms at the Swan/Dolphin on available dates and go on a waiting list for sold-out dates, guests are encouraged to consider the All-Star Resort for their hotel room needs. 

Special Room Rates for 17th Annual Sloan-C International Conference on Online Learning attendees:

All conference sessions will be held at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin.  Attendees of the conference must book their hotel room through the conference website no later than Friday, October 14, 2011 in order to receive discounted rates starting at $177.00* per night plus taxes. The special conference rates also apply for three days prior to and three days after the conclusion of the conference. 

*The conference room rate includes a mandatory resort service package fee of $8 per day. The resort service package includes: unlimited in-room high speed Internet access, up to 60 minutes of free local, toll free and credit card access calls (10 cents a minute thereafter), 20 minutes of domestic long distance calls per stay, 2 bottles of water daily, and unlimited access to the resort's health club facilities.

The Swan/Dolphin Resort will charge to your credit card a deposit of the first night's fee ($177 plus applicable taxes) upon completion of your reservation.  Any reservations must be canceled no later than 5 business days prior to the start of your reservation for refund of that deposit. 

Discounted Walt Disney World park tickets and giftcards for conference attendees:

Sloan-C conference attendees may purchase discounted park tickets.  Please note: Discounted multi-day park tickets should be purchased in advance for the largest discount.  Multi-Day park tickets may be bought onsite at the Swan and Dolphin ticket kiosk; however, the discount is lower onsite.  The special "After 2pm" and "After 4pm" tickets are only available for advance purchase;  they are not available for purchase onsite at the Swan and Dolphin ticket kiosk. 

Purchase a Walt Disney World giftcard - The giftcard may be used for food and drink at the EPCOT International Food and Wine festival, including the evening of Wednesday, November 9 during the Sloan-C EPCOT Dessert Event.  Giftcards may also be used for many other Walt Disney World purchases and for purchases at the Disney merchandise shop located at the Swan and Dolphin hotel.
