Abstract
Blended learning has the potential to provide cost effective, pedagogically-driven solutions that address challenges facing higher education. This workshop will focus on the large issues institutions must deal with in order to meet their missions of providing access to quality academic programs. Three recognized and respected academic administrators will discuss these issues, share methods and the strategies their institutions have implemented to find solutions. Participants in this workshop will work in small groups to discuss how these strategies can be brought back to their campuses and/or systems. A summary of the work will then be shared with participants post conference. The purpose of the collaborative document will be to provide a growing number of blended learning practitioners with a comprehensive review of “big” issues. Outcomes: Framework of blended learning Identification and discussion of ‘big issues’ Implemented strategies
