It’s an exciting time for education. Teaching, learning, and collaboration are evolving from the traditional classroom to online courses, collaborative ad-hoc discussions, easy access to information and experts, and much more. Learn how today's educational institutions are investing in online collaborative technologies to achieve their academic, administrative, and financial goals.
Bradley Beecher, Solutions Engineer, has been working with academic and instructional technologies since 1998 when he joined an instructional technologies lab at The George Washington University. At GWU, he was a founding member of the team that developed the Prometheus Course Management System. In 2002, he joined WebCT's international team working with universities across 6 continents. In 2007, he served as the international business development manager for a lecture capture provider, supporting customers in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. In his current position at Blackboard Collaborate, he works with institutions in the NE United States and Eastern Canada. He is currently finishing his Masters in Educational Policy Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and will graduate in August 2011 – while at UIUC he has been using Bb Collaborate weekly for his courses.
