What skills will students need to communicate and work in the 21st century? Let's discuss how to teach students necessary 21st century skills while maintaining content-area learning.
We will analyze the role of writing and technology in teaching 21st century skills in content areas, and demonstrate how Turnitin can offer teachers what they need to teach 21st century skills without sacrificing time focused on course content.
Renee Bangerter has been a composition instructor for fifteen years, integrating technology into her pedagogy from the very start. She was instrumental in training faculty in practical uses of technology in their courses, including teaching faculty across the curriculum how to implement Turnitin. She is an Assistant Professor of English at Saddleback College and an educational consultant for iParadigms, the creators of Turnitin.
