Joel Hartman, Vice Provost for Information Technologies and Resources at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, will describe UCF’s scaling to integrate technology with learning by building infrastructures for information technology, resources and research networks . Robbie Melton, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs: eLearning Regents Online Campus Collaborative and the Tennessee Board of Regents Executive Director of Educational Technology Initiatives and Innovations, will describe scalable emerging technologies that are transforming institutional capabilities for engaging and retaining learners–such as mobile apps, eReaders, Digital content, eTextbooks, Web2.0,Gaming,Sims,and Virtual Reality. Meg Benke, Sloan-C President and provost and vice president for academic affairs with Empire State College, will introduce methods for greater scalability across institutions via open educational resources and portfolios for prior learning assessment.
