Abstract
Create online content that is engaging and interactive with SoftChalk! This session will demonstrate how easy it is to take static content and make it interactive.  
Extended Abstract

Learn how to make your online content engaging, interactive and professional looking with SoftChalk! This session will demonstrate how easy it is to take static content from a Word document or PowerPoint presentation and make it interactive by including learning activities, quizzes and media (sound, video, youtube videos, etc.).

You will learn how to:

. Easily make online content more engaging and interactive.
. Build online lessons, integrate media, and create flash-based learning activities within SoftChalk.
. Keyword search repositories and easily bring the discovered media into a lesson with SoftChalk’s media search tool.
. Upload a lesson, eCourse, or learning activity on CONNECT, a learning object repository, to share with the public of specific groups.


 

Lead Presenter

David Evans is Director of Learning Services for SoftChalk. David is a pure mathematics major with a concentration in theater and English Literature. He has taught for over 30 years. He first became involved in online education in the 1980’s and has been leading the way for online training and education. His degrees include Instructional Technology and Distance education and Mathematics education.
