With the growth in demand for online courses, institutions need efficient and scalable models for quality online course development. The purpose of this presentation is to share the process and outcomes of implementing a course development partnership model that combines faculty development with one-on-one collaboration between faculty members and instructional designers. The five-step process provides a foundation in course design to faculty, streamlines the front-end workload of the instructional designer, and maximizes instructional design and media development resources. After the session, participants will be able to implement similar course development partnership models at their own institutions.
