Confessions of an Online Virgin

This session will be a sometimes humorous recounting of a seasoned educator/novice professor’s first foray into developing an online course. It will follow the many paths pursued in putting together the course. The results of the initial survey of the students on their technological ease, the mid-term survey on what was working and what was not, and the final survey on the entire experience will be shared. The presenter will hypothesize ways to improve the course that will be offered in this format again next year and then solicit suggestions from the session participants in a brainstorming activity.
