Virtual Session
Since 2006, the California State University has embarked on a large-scale Accessible Technology Initiative to provide equal access to educational resources and opportunities to all students. Central to this effort is the development of faculty understanding, knowledge, and expertise in ways to most effectively deliver their courses, whether online or face-to-face, while eliminating barriers to learning. Through slides, handouts, and video case stories, this presentation will cover Universal Design for Learning, as well as the Faculty Learning Community process at campuses such as Monterey Bay. Another example to be shared is the UDL Rubric for Online Instruction by CSU, Chico.
