In education, Virtual Reality allows the delivery of interactive 3D virtual learning environments through the Internet, reaching large numbers of learners worldwide at any time and increases students’ learning motivation. It also supports multiplayer online role-playing to facilitate cooperative learning in an online course. This research includes three major subjects (1) how to develop an online virtual system for improving students’ learning motivation; (2) develop a virtual structure laboratory (Civil Engineering) with simulation functions; (3) by using realistic instruction, evaluate those developed virtual system and laboratory for verifying the effective and the satisfaction.
