The eScholars Program was created to support faculty at Fresno State in the development of online course offerings and experiences. The session will highlight the eScholar steps from the proposal phase through the final meeting. Session participants will discuss issues/challenges they face in faculty development. The eScholars Program built and expanded online faculty expertise through two cohorts. Cohorts were required to work with an instructional designer, attend learning community meetings, take a Sloan-C workshop, collaborate with each other, and showcase their projects. Evaluation assessments revealed positive faculty experiences including awareness of technology tools, impacting student learning, and mentoring other faculty.
