How To Integrate Facebook Into The Classroom

Student access to mobile devices has increased dramatically. Why not use these tools and others to engage the student by using mainstream Web applications. Facebook is one of these mainstream applications that educators can use with little effort. In this session we will be looking at many of the applications and utilities that represent some of the ideal tools Facebook has to offer for education. We will also look at step by step procedures for setting up a group or profile for a course or project. Attendees will learn basic terminology and use, creative educational uses, caveats, and security features.
