Session presenters describe the results of ongoing research examining the predictors of 5 years of data on student success and withdrawal for more than 250,000 fully online and blended students. They will demonstrate data mining results for 1,200,000 student ratings presenting decision rules for predicting the circumstances under which students assign excellent overall course ratings with 95% accuracy. Finally, the presenters will show that results for success, withdrawal and satisfaction are best interpreted when they are contextualized within the institution’s academic culture and support system.
