MERLOT and Virtual Learning Environments

This session will present the development of MERLOT's new discipline "learning in virtual environments," the taxonomy used for cataloging related virtual learning materials, and demonstrate the MERLOT 3D Campus, the evolving 3D rendition of the MERLOT portal, CLIVE, the Center for Learning in Virtual Environments.  CLIVE and the 3D Campus are joint development projects of Sify Technologies, the University of Oregon Center for Advancement of Technology in Education, and MERLOT.
