Online communication tools facilitate online discussions between students, enhance student-to-faculty interaction, implement collaborative activities, and enable student–centered teaching approaches. Online communication tools also address a very common complaint of on-ground faculty, “Why is the online faculty not required to hold office hours and advise students”. The search is over for free, easy to use online communication tools. In this session we will demonstrate how a few popular, easy-to-use free communication tools may be used to encourage, increase, and improve communication between students and faculty.
