Experience in the UK suggests that group-work is an increasing component of assessment criteria, yet few students learn how to engage in it effectively. This workshop introduces participants to an award winning resource designed to support students working together in groups. ‘Making group work-work’ has received awards across Europe as an innovative example of a reusable learning and teaching resource. The workshop is aimed at those interested in producing open source web-based video material to support collaborative learning, exploring ideas for integrating these resources into the curriculum and sharing our experiences as we adapt the resource for mobile devices.
