Streamline Course Review Process for Quality Assurance

An online database tool is created to streamline the process of course review for quality assurance of online courses. The review standards are in a rubric form covering accessibility, usability, media usage, interactivity, and alignment between learning objectives and assessment measures. Annotations and examples are provided to illustrate each standard. Both instructors and reviewers use the online rubric form to complete self reviews and reviews. This paper shares the design of the tool, feedback from the course instructors and reviewers, experiences gained, and plans for improvement.
