Surfing the Leading Edge of Google Wave

This session will introduce participants to the use of Google Wave as a platform for students enrolled in different classes, even different universities, to pursue group research or discussion projects. Participants will be guided as they develop and share waves for inter-class and inter-institutional group project collaborations. These waves will be available for use by the participants after the conference. The potential of the technology to enhance diversity of information, perspectives accounts and thought in the field of study will be demonstrated. Prior to the conference, all participants will receive Wave accounts that they will retain on a continuing basis.
