The NSF-funded Sci-Train project conducted a series of focus groups with high school science & mathematics teachers in order to gain a clearer understanding of current classroom conditions for students with disabilities. Feedback from teachers in the field directly impacted the development of appropriate training material for educators. Respondents provided input on five evaluation questions which was then used to refine training modules to be as applicable as possible to the actual classroom environment. This session presents the results of each evaluation question and briefly discusses how the SciTrain project changed as a result of teacher input.
