This presentation will showcase the use of streaming media, virtual conferencing, interactive online exercises, and learning objects developed for a unique online environmental ethics course conducted in a Moodle environment. In addition to two-way videcon ferencing, WIKI's, and discussion boards, this course also features occasional presentations conducted by short-wave radio using an FCC licensed portable station. The latter modality is required when conducting presentations from remote areas such as desert or mountainous regions where Internet, Wi-Fi, and cell phone connections are not available. The presentation will illustrate all of these modes of delivery. With discussion on best practices.
