The college pathway includes several critical stages which students must successfully complete in order to earn a college degree. To help guide students on the degree pathway, states have developed web portals that include tools for how to get into college, pay for college, transfer credit, etc. This session will present findings from two studies funded by Lumina Foundation for Education. WICHE, WCET, and Hezel Assoc. examined statewide transfer and articulation policies and web-based tools. SREB is examining the structure, services, and effectiveness of student information websites for prospective college students through lifelong learning. Join an interactive discussion about promising practices and related research about state web portals for student access and success.
