Sloan-C currently offers student/retiree, Individual, Institutional, Institutional Community
College, Institutional HBCU, and Corporate levels of membership. We also offer packages for
university and college systems.
Benefits include online workshop, conference, and publications, discounts as well as access
to member resources on the website. Specifics for each membership can be found on our
membership page.
Institutional benefits are shared amongst the entire faculty and staff at your institution.
Depending on the administration of your membership and due to the finite number of discounts per institution, you are not guaranteed use of any of the benefits. Some individuals choose to have their own Individual Membership to ensure they receive the discounts.
Membership in the Sloan Consortium provides knowledge, practice, community, and direction
for educators. Our online workshops, conferences, and resources help educators stay up to
date in this ever changing field.
Sloan-C offers a Corporate Affiliate Program for corporations who would like greater
involvement in the Sloan-C community. You can find the details for the three levels of this program here.
Yes, Sloan-C offers a student/retiree membership as well as an Individual membership. Click

Sloan-C offers a free Guest Membership which grants access to limited information on the
Sloan-C website including document abstracts, newsletters, announcements and selected videos and publications.
Paying memberships offer benefits and discounts of monetary value and therefore cannot be free.
Membership numbers change daily, but Sloan-C currently works with close to 150 institutions
and organizations around the country and world.
Our members come from all around the country and the world. We have educators, institutions, corporations, educational organizations, and government agencies among our members.

Yes, members of the Sloan Consortium come around all around the world. We welcome international organizations and individuals to join the Sloan Consortium community.
Anyone that is interested in online learning should become a Sloan-C member. We count higher education and K-12 institutions, for-profit institutions, corporations, non-profits, faculty, administrators, instructional designers, and students among our members.
No, currently you do not have to be a Sloan-C member to submit a paper/proposal for any of
our conferences and/or workshops.
No, you do not have to be a Sloan-C member to attend any of our conferences. We welcome anyone interested in joining and participating to attend our events.

Yes, Sloan-C offers a free 'guest' membership. The guest accountwill allow such benefits like
posting Effective Practices, joining online forums, commenting on the blogs, and other benefits.
As soon as we receive payment, your welcome e-mail along with your coupon codes will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
Membership in the Sloan Consortium starts the day we receive payment and will end one year
from that date.
No, there is no set enrollment period. Membership in the Sloan Consortium is rolling.
Students and retirees receive discounts on Individual membership. Discounts on membership
are available for community colleges, HBCUs, systems, and multi-campus institutions.
Community colleges and HBCUs are also available for the College Pass.
