You’re witnessing impressive growth in the online education arena. With that growth comes an increased need for individuals to fill leadership roles and positions. They could come from a variety of disciplines: program directors, unit directors, chairs, deans, provosts, or maybe equally as important, a faculty member who advocates for online education. This workshop will highlight common characteristics of effective leaders and will also focus on strategies participants can use to advocate for the advancement of online education at their respective institutions.
