As I read posts in distance education, I find little evidence that online course designers and course instructors value the programs and services of academic support centers whose primary function is to help students with learning and study strategies. In reading many online course syllabi, I do not see that course instructors include any reference to relevant links or more particularly a recommendation that their students can get help from a campus learning center. I wonder why course instructors do not value such centers as helpful for their students. Collegially.....
