October 2012 Facilitator of the Month – David Mohr

 

Our Facilitator of the Month is David Mohr, Ph.D.  This month he is facilitating Live and Learn: Adult Learning Styles in the Online Classroom http://bit.ly/Sed3qx and in the past he has facilitated Challenges and Rewards of Effective Online Feedback.

 

David is a health services research investigator at the Veterans Health Administration and Research Assistant Professor of Health Policy and Management at Boston University School of Public Health. He earned his doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University. He also teaches for University of Phoenix in both ground and online psychology and communication courses. He also serves as a chair and committee member for dissertation students. He has several peer-reviewed academic presentations and publications at journals such as Medical Care, Academic Medicine, and Human Resource Management Journal.

 

According to workshop surveys, his participants have appreciated David's presence and availability, noting "he was human, funny and personable." In discussion activities, David engages the participants in the topic while modeling online teaching strategies. Sloan-C Institute values David's contribution to our workshop offerings.
