Announcing the Sloan-C Member Catalog of Online Programs
The Sloan Consortium Member Catalog of Online Programs is a free service for regionally accredited Sloan-C Institutional Members. Launching this month, the Catalog lists online programs that are searchable by degree level, discipline and delivery mode.

Sloan-C Certificate
The Sloan-C Online Teaching Certificate prepares educators to teach and improve online courses using the Sloan-C pillars of quality in online education—learning effectiveness, scale, faculty and student satisfaction, and access. A unique feature is that expert mentors work individually with each certificate candidate to accomplish specific goals.

The Sloan-C Fellows Selection Committee has issued the Call for Nominations for the Sloan-C Fellows Class of 2012. Fellow recognition is conferred by the Sloan-C Board of Directors in recognition of outstanding contributions to online learning or an allied field. The deadline for receipt of nominations for the Sloan-C Fellows Class of 2012 is April 1, 2012. Additional information about the Sloan-C Fellows program is available on this website. The 9th annual Survey of Online Learning: Going the Distance - Online Education in the United States, 2011 The ninth annual survey, a collaborative effort between the Babson Survey Research Group and the College Board, is the leading barometer of online learning in the United States. Based on responses from over 2,500 academic leaders, the complete survey report, "Going the Distance: Online Education in the United States, 2011". This survey reveals that the number of students taking at least one online course has now surpassed 6 million. Now nearly one-third of all students in higher education are taking at least one online course. Read the press release. |
