William J. Seaton is the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Thomas Edison State College.  Prior to assuming the Provost position, Bill was the Associate Vice Provost of the College's Distance & Independent Adult Learning (DIAL) office.   He has been with Thomas Edison State College for 30 years. Bill chairs the Thomas Edison State College Academic Council and is a member of the President’s Cabinet. He is an alumnus of Bowling Green State University and Harvard’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education. He is a Sociologist with a specialization in statistics and health care analysis. Bill has had academic appointments at Susquehanna University, Bucknell University, The Pennsylvania State University and The College of New Jersey. He has been married to Karen for 40 years raising three children and now enjoys the company of his six grandchildren.
