Prior to joining the Sloan Consortium in July 2009, Patrick served as Assistant Vice-President/Director of the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) at the University of Central Florida. From 2001-08, DCE provided management services for the Sloan Consortium Annual International Asynchronous Learning Networks Conference. Relative to conference development, he develops partnerships, provides planning and negotiation of venues and contracts, brokers the utilization of partnered and outsourced services, assists with program development, implementation and financial management. Patrick has 30+ years of experience in higher education administration. He has held continuing education senior management positions in the Florida, Montana, North Dakota and Wisconsin University systems. He earned his PhD in Educational Administration at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
