Online Workshop Description: 
The aim of this session will provide information and review recent literature highlighting human resources themes in online education. The session will discuss performance management plans, management styles and philosophies,training and development, organizational design and change management approaches relevant to achieve and maintain successful internal systems management. During the ten-day course, participants will be introduced to basic human resource concepts from academic and practitioner readings that can enhance the online environment for staff and students. The course will include discussion questions asking participants to reflect and apply material to their own online programs. We will also discuss how trends in the external environment may require changes and advance planning to be responsive to future demands.

Biographies of Presenters/Panelists: 

David Mohr

David Mohr, Ph.D. is a health services research investigator at the Veterans Health Administration and Assistant Research Professor of Health Policy and Management at Boston University School of Public health.  He earned a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Bowling Green State University. He is a faculty member of the University of Phoenix. He has over four years of experience facilitating courses online and on-ground, including business communication, research writing, and psychology.  He also serves as a dissertation mentor and committee members for several student learners.
