•  Identify areas for needed improvement with each of the nine categories for quality evaluation
•  Share best practices and examples of how best to demonstrate each quality indicator.

Online Workshop Description: 
The identification of quality online education programs satisfies a great need in our field and has been requested by many online education administrators as a tool for program improvement. The assessment of quality online education has never been more important as competition continues to fiercely increase and students all over the world are clicking to find a respectable degree program. This workshop will provide best practices and recommendations for implementing the Quality Scorecard for the Administration of Online Education Programs.

Presenter/Panelist Biographies
Biographies of Presenters/Panelists: 

Kaye Shelton

Kaye is the Dean of Online Education for Dallas Baptist University, whose online program offers thirty-six fully online degree programs, maintains a 92% course completion rate and has been a model program for many peer institutions. Dr. Shelton is a certified online instructor and winner of the 2005 Blackboard Bbionic course contest and the Instructional Technology Council's (ITC) e-Learning 2006 Outstanding Online Course award.
She co-authored the book An Administrator's Guide of Online Education as well as other recent journal articles and book chapters related to online education and also practices as an online education consultant and peer reviewer. Dr. Shelton is currently a mentor for the Sloan-C exemplary online course development workshops, and speaks at numerous workshops and conferences regarding online faculty development and the possibilities online education provides institutions. She also has significant experience in faculty professional development, primarily in the area of online teaching and course design.
Dr. Shelton's research in quality online education has yielded a quality scorecard for the administration of online education programs.
